  Application Process

At Summit School of the Poconos, we believe the learning process should be valued as much as the results. If you’ve read through our website, let’s get started!


First Step: The Application

Second Step: School Visit/Tour


Once we have received an application, we will contact you to schedule a school visit/tour.

Our visit starts with a group tour and general orientation of our school.

Next, parents will have an ability to speak with administration and observe classes, and students will have an opportunity to participate in classes to get a true sense of the SSP culture.

Visits are scheduled in 90-minute blocks of time and are by appointment only.

Applications must be received before visits are scheduled.


Third Step: Academic Assessment


If families are still interested in SSP after a school visit/tour, a follow-up appointment for academic assessment will be scheduled directly with a teacher. This will allow us to decide where to place your child at his/her academic level by subject.


Fourth Step: Enrollment


New 2017-18 Enrollment offers at SSP will be extended to students we feel are best suited for our school culture and show strong potential to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

If we feel your child will thrive at SSP and we have space to accept them into our program, you will receive an acceptance letter with instructions on how to finalize enrolment, including tuition payments and schedules.

If we feel we are unable to accommodate your child at SSP for any reason, a staff member will be in touch to discuss this in detail.
